is coming February 10, "Day of remembrance" of the martyrs of sinkholes and 350,000 exiles from Istria, Venezia Giulia and Dalmatia, established by Act 92 of 2004. This date takes on in the year when our country turns 150 years, a value much deeper, reiterating the importance of a shared memory and consciousness of people. For years during the "Day of Remembrance" go down in the Italian squares colored with three colors, which we consider the best symbol to remember the many people to defend their Italian identity have lost their lives. Also this year we will be in schools, universities, public squares and in meetings with local authorities, events, concerts and film screenings.
The main event is definitely one of 5 February in Florence, Piazza Savonarola 17.00 will start the procession in memory of the martyrs of the sinkholes, organized by the students of the Young Italy.
We believe it is our duty to defend and promote national identity, and this year more than other years, we are given the opportunity to speak about those who are examples, often deliberately forgotten in our history. The challenge is formidable as ever, but we are certain that once again, proved to be ideal.
